Terms of use
zanbur.tech is a personal project offering engineering calculators and small applications. Using the site means accepting what follows.
The calculators are not a substitute for judgment
This is the part that matters more than the rest of this page put together.
The tools here model machining, cutting forces and related physics. Every model on the site is a simplification: it assumes conditions that a real machine, a real fixture and a real piece of stock will not exactly meet. Tool geometry varies, material certificates vary, spindles wear, workholding slips.
Do not use output from this site as the sole basis for a decision where a wrong answer could injure someone, wreck a machine, or scrap expensive work. Treat a result as a starting point to be checked against manufacturer data, your own experience, and a conservative first cut. The site owner accepts no liability for damage, injury, or loss arising from reliance on anything it produces.
Accounts
An account is yours to keep secure. Do not use the site to store anything you could not afford to lose — it is a personal project, backups are not guaranteed, and an account may be removed if it is used to attack the service or anyone else.
Availability
The site is provided as-is, with no promise that it will be available, correct, or preserved. It runs on a single server and may be taken down, changed, or reset without notice. There is no service level agreement because there is no service contract.
Your content
Anything you save stays yours. Storing it here grants no rights over it beyond what is needed to show it back to you. It is not inspected, mined, or used to train anything — see the privacy page for the full account of what is stored.
The inbox-triage application
inbox-triage is private and single-user. It is not offered to anyone else, has no sign-up, and nothing on this page constitutes an offer of it as a service. Its handling of Google user data is described on the privacy page.
Changes
These terms may change. The revision date at the top of this page is the only version history there is; continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.
